God According to God - Art Clark - Wednesday Night Lesson

Lesson 2 of 8 October 17, 2019

This lesson examines Numbers 14:1-12, focusing on the Israelites' rebellion after the spies' report, God's response to their unbelief, and the consequences of disobedience. The teacher highlights God's sovereignty (Numbers 14:10-12) and the role of faith (Joshua and Caleb's example, Numbers 14:5-9). The study emphasizes the importance of trusting God's promises and the gravity of rejecting His Word.

Numbers 14:1-12

Then all the Israelites raised their voices and wept aloud. And the people said to Moses, "Why did you ever bring us up out of Egypt to die in this wilderness? For there is no food, and the water is bad. We detest this miserable food." Then the Lord said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they not believe in me, even though all the signs I have performed in their sight? I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them, and I will make you into a nation greater and more numerous than they are."
