Throughout the trip, they connected with local families, including the Ulysses and Ramirez families, and shared meals and fellowship with the community. Clint highlighted the longstanding partnership with the Hawatha and Byron families, the work of the local school, and the challenges the school faced, such as visa issues and COVID disruptions. He emphasized that over ten percent of the congregation had now participated in the mission, illustrating the church’s commitment to sending volunteers rather than merely financial support.
